HONEST!! My dad, a former imported car service shop owner, recommended I go here after he read online reviews. The owner went on a brief ride with me to hear the sound that was concerning me, immediately told me what was wrong, but was honest with not being able to complete the job in the time frame I needed due to their shop being booked out for over a week. They then gave me a referral to a different repair shop that they trusted, and that shop was able to get the job done in the same day. Appreciate their honesty and willingness to defer business! Will go back to them for any future car problems.
Recently purchased a 2005 Honda CR-V. Knowing with the age of the vehicle that it was likely to need work I took it to Melloy Honda for an inspection. Their techs came back to me with a list of work totaling close to $3000. I decided to wait and took the vehicle to get a second opinion from Curtis Auto Repair. They had wonderful customer service from scheduling drop off to the time I picked up the vehicle. The mechanic took the time to show me the exact parts that needed replacement and I ended up paying $425 after everything was said and done. The car drives beautifully and was done within a couple hours. The shop is clean and well organized and you can tell they take pride in their business and how they treat their customers. I will never take my car anywhere else but the kind, efficient, and HONEST folks at Curtis Auto Repair. Keep up the wonderful work guys! And THANK YOU!!!
Curtis Auto Repair did a great job on my truck. I took it in late in the afternoon after I got off work and they had my truck finished the very next day. The lady in the front was very nice and they got the job done right. They have earned my trust and I would recommend them to anybody who wants quality work done. The price was also excellent. Great prices, great work and great people. This will be the only shop I take my truck to from now on
Several locals told me to take my car to Curtis Auto Repair because they are honest and reasonably priced. So I did and that was exactly right. The lady on the phone was so nice and called me about what the price of the repairs were going to be before they started and if I wanted to proceed. I really liked that; it kept me informed. Also when I picked up my vehicle she again went over what they fixed and even told me how and where to get the other work done that they don’t provide like parts(bumper) from the dealership. I really respect them for being honest and not trying to rip you off like other car mechanic’s. The auto shop was very clean and the lady made me an appointment over the phone, which ensured I got seen right away as places like Four States no longer take appointments; which is very hard to tell if you’re going to be seen or not. But Curtis Auto Repair got my car done in less than 4 hours, even with all the work they had to do on it. I had an oil leak, old gauges, among other things. Thank you Curtis for doing excellent work on my vehicle and helping me trust auto shops again!!
Can't say enough good things about Curtis Auto Repair. Great customer service and work you can count on. Good work, reliable, reasonable, fair and honest - hard attributes to find these days it seems. I highly recommend them!
This is an excellent Auto repair shop. They're very easy to schedule with and seem to Pace their work so that you don't wait a long time to get in. They were able to schedule me within a couple of days to fix a starter. They did the work within a day and I was able to pick up the next. They give very good quotes and have reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Curtis Auto does a great job for me. The mechanic is very knowledgeable, has all the right diagnostic equipment and knows how to use it. They are fair and fast with the repair work they do. My experience is, that if it's not worth fixing a problem they tell you, they don't just do the work to get the job. I have used Curtis Auto for the last 10 years or so and never been unhappy with the work. I highly recommend this auto repair shop.
A mechanic with the right diagnostic equipment who knows how to use it - and will even ride along to hear the problem for himself.
From starters to worn parts, they show you exactly what needs replacing and get the work done right.
Oil leaks, gauges and the everyday upkeep that keeps a truck or car on the road.
They call with the price before any work starts, so you decide - no surprises when you pick up the keys.
Curtis Auto Repair sits on the corner of E Murray Drive in Farmington, New Mexico - an independent, local shop that keeps earning its reputation the old-fashioned way: honest answers, fair prices, and work done right.
Customers mention it again and again - the honesty, the friendly voice on the phone that calls before starting any work, the clean, well-organized shop, and turnaround measured in hours, not days. One driver was quoted nearly $3,000 elsewhere and paid $425 here.
